Welcome to the Long Branch Sector community page.
The Long Branch area is a diverse residential and commercial splice of Montgomery County located at one of the intersections between Silver Spring and Takoma Park.
We aim to promote community dialogue, friendship, and goodwill for the residents and commercial enterprises within and around the greater Long Branch area.
Our goal includes sharing news and information impacting those who live or work within Long Branch and we hope to bring awareness to community needs, such as revitalization, land use, crime prevention, and the future Purple Line. Similarly, we hope to educate residents on Montgomery County's commitment - and direct action taken - to "improve the quality of life by supporting efforts to improve safety, civic engagement, and health" in the Long Branch area.

Reported Issues and Concerns
The interactive map above is generated through SeeClickFix.
SeeClickFix's goal is to allow members of a community to play an integral role in public services by routing neighborhood concerns - like potholes and light outages - to the appropriate office or official within a local government. Many local governments, including our neighbors in the District of Columbia, officially partner wth SeeClickFix and utilize their technology as official or integrated non-emergency 311 service requests or reports.
Other governments, such as Montgomery County, monitor and respond to public issues submitted via SeeClickFix.
